Top Notch Houston

This next Friday I will be setting sail at the same time my old crew mate Nature will be touching down in Tejas. He will be returning to Boondocks to set the tables a blaze along side residents: Dayta and El Roy Boogie. This is a party you don’t want to miss! Ok, so this is it folks. The last Top Notch Thursday will be taking place day after tomorrow at The Cavern. Thanks a million to everyone that supported me over the last year. I will be leaving on the 26th for a month to Dj aboard a cruise ship. I will be posting more updates as the date nears. Top Notch will continue when I return, probably in a monthly format. I have some major things in store for 2010. Stay tuned!

Triple Double Mixtape

With all the buzz built up around All Star weekend, Centre, A1 and myself thought it would be fresh to team up on another mixtape project. We just finished everything up on our newest mix TRPL/DBL and will be picking up the physical copies this week. This mix is heavy on the 90’s jams and has a subtle basketball theme. The mix will be available exclusively at the Centre ANNX. Open February 11-14. Be sure to clear your schedule at some point during this weekend and stop through. It’s going down!

The Pop Up shop kicks in to gear this Saturday evening. I will be heading straight from Centre over to West Village to Dj the opening with the Homie Prince William. The space looks really fresh and the artist lineup is on point. Be sure and ad this to you “to do” list for this crazy weekend.

As most of y’all know, All Star weekend is upon us and this week our city will start transformation in to complete chaos. Crazy traffic and crowds aside, this is an extremely good look for Dallas. Everyone who is anyone will be in town and it’s our duty as creative folks to show these out of towners what we are working with. Dj A1 and myself have partnered with our good friends at Centre on another Mixtape/event project. Next Saturday, we will be debuting our new All Star mix “Triple Double” as well as providing tunes for the slam dunk contest. This is a daytime event so there is no excuse to miss this one.
